Salary range: $45,000- $52,000 Annually
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator to support our HR Department from December through April. This role will act as the primary contact for HR inquiries, building positive relationships with staff and supervisors. Key responsibilities include assisting employees with benefits, conducting new hire orientation, and supporting recruitment efforts. Duties involve posting job openings, managing hiring updates, addressing process questions, preparing offer letters, and maintaining payroll data in spreadsheets and HRIS.
Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of one year of professional work experience in Human Resources. Experience in Employee Benefits or Recruiting is preferred. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact, communicate, and collaborate with individuals and teams from cultural backgrounds other than your own.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and problem-solving.
- Experience with an HRIS (ADP Workforce Now experience preferred).
Essential Functions:
- Manage all logistics related to the recruitment process, including:
- Identify successful recruitment mechanisms and practices such as job fairs, job boards, community events, etc.
- Proactive sourcing of candidates and outreach for attracting, engaging, and hiring diverse talents to agency success.
- Receive, process, and manage Request for Job Posting to include posting and managing jobs on internal and external sites.
- Administer the agency's benefit programs and understand all plan designs and educate staff on their benefit options.
- Coordinate the annual open enrollment process by administering participant changes and new enrollments.
- Manages benefit and compensation elements related to employee leave of absence.
- Ensure benefits invoices are accurate and submitted timely to Finance.
