Pay Range: $67,000-$70,000

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving organizational excellence through innovative thinking, project management, office management, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. This position oversees front desk operations, supply systems, and administrative support to ensure smooth and professional day-to-day operations, strengthens volunteer engagement, and partner with leadership to drive cross-functional initiatives. The role requires visionary leadership with hands-on execution to identify growth opportunities and implement transformative initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, operations management, or related field, or comparable combination of career and life experiences.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, project management, or systems innovation.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple constituencies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with nonprofit compliance, budgeting, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong skillsets in leadership supervision with an emphasis on staff development in providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive practices.
- Knowledge and experience in building alignment with vendors, consultants, business partnerships, and collaborations, maintaining and managing relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in public speaking, training, and meeting facilitation.
- High level of knowledge and aptitude in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and other related forms of technology.
- Preferred 40-hour sexual assault certification or the ability to complete training within 6 months.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends
Innovation & Strategic Development
- Identify and integrate emerging practices, technologies, and partnerships to enhance administrative operations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and pilot new models that address systemic barriers and challenges.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and service-oriented environment for staff, volunteers, vendors, and visitors
- Direct office management functions, including supply systems, vendor relationships, and operational contracts, ensuring cost-effective and reliable services.
- Ensure accurate documentation, records management, and reporting to meet organizational and regulatory standards and support organizational sustainability.
- Oversee facility usage, scheduling, and coordination in collaboration with administrative staff, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and resource planning.
- Oversee and optimize internal operations, including systems, processes, and infrastructure, to support programmatic and strategic goals.
- Serve as an operational resource for the volunteer program, ensuring smooth program delivery by coordinating activities with the Development team.
- Provide logistical and project management support, including scheduling, donation tracking, and process oversight to meet agency needs and enhance volunteer experience
- Foster a culture of innovation, equity, accountability, and collaboration across the organization.
- Lead change management efforts that center staff well-being and survivor voice.
- Supervise and mentor operational staff, volunteers, and interns, supporting their growth and development.
